Mazie Winnett Price was born July 1, 1884 to John Merriman Price and Eunice Helen Dunbar Price.

She married Obed K. Price and remained married until his death in 1959. Beginning in 1903 they resided at a house at 6313 Kentucky Avenue, Pittsburgh which had been given to them by Obed's Aunt Ann Marshall.
They had two daughters Ann Marshall Price and Helen Eleanor Price. As a widow she lived with her daughter Ann in Upper Montclair, NJ and then in a nearby nursing facility. After the familly moved to Washington, DC, Mazie Winnett Price was transferred to a nursing facility in nearby Maryland. She died a few years later on July 19, 1978.
